EVENT:Satellite Beach, Banana River Sail and Power Squadron Christmas Boat Parade
DATE:12/20/2014
INFO:All boaters are invited to attend the 2014 Satellite Beach, Banana River Sail and Power Squadron Christmas Boat Parade on December 20. We had over 100 boats join us in this annual holiday tradition last year and hope to see even more boaters with us this year. All participating Christmas boaters need to assemble at the north end of the Grand Canal, just south of the Pineda Causeway on the Banana River, at 6:00 PM. Bring your singers, banners, trees and displays – let’s all have a great, joyous, noisy time! Decorated boats, led by the Satellite Beach Patrol boat, followed by the BRSPS Santa Claus Boat, will start the parade at the north end of the Grand Canal and proceed south, enter and circle Lake Shepherd, continue south on the Grand Canal and disband just north of the Mathers bridge. Communications before and during the parade will be on VHF radio Channel 71.
