| INFO: | BASIC BOATING COURSE
Mark your calendars now, the Banana River Sail and Power Squadron is providing the opportunity for the basic boater to learn safe boating from Senior Navigators and Advanced Marine Pilots. Maritime subjects taught will be: Navigation, Chart Reading and Communication Skills, Waterway Rules, Emergency Procedures, Knots, Boat Trailering and more. Classes will start Wednesday, September 10, 2008 for two (2) hours from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM for eight (8) consecutive Wednesdays ending with the final exam on November 5, 2008. Class will be held at the Keiser University, 900 S. Babcock St. (Just North of Sears) Melbourne, Florida. The cost of $50.00 will include books, plotter, dividers and final exam. If materials are shared, the cost will be discounted. Registration will start at 6:30 PM on September 10, 2008.
